Caribbean Cruise Deals

Turquoise water, white sand and a new island almost every morning

The Caribbean is the most popular cruise region in the world for a reason: short sailing distances between islands, warm water year-round, and departures from almost every major US cruise port. Choose an Eastern, Western or Southern route and you can wake up somewhere new nearly every day — each island with its own beaches, food and culture.

What makes Caribbean special

  • Three very different routes

Eastern (St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan) for beaches and shopping, Western (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Roatán) for reefs and Mayan ruins, Southern (Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados) for longer, more exotic sailings.

  • World-class snorkeling and diving

The Mesoamerican Reef off Mexico and Belize, Stingray City in Grand Cayman and St. John's underwater trail are all reachable on a shore day.

  • The newest ships sail here first

Cruise lines base their biggest, newest ships in the Caribbean — water parks, Broadway shows and dozens of dining options.

  • Private-island beach days

Most lines include a day on their own private island in the Bahamas or Caribbean, with beaches, cabanas and water sports.

  • Easy for US travellers

Many ports use or accept US dollars, English is widely spoken, and you can drive to your departure port from much of the country.

Caribbean cruise FAQs

When is hurricane season?

Officially June 1 to November 30, with the most activity from mid-August to mid-October. Ships re-route around storms, and fares are often lowest in this window. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Eastern, Western or Southern — which should I pick?

Eastern for beaches and shopping with more sea days, Western for snorkeling, diving and Mayan history, Southern for less-visited islands on a longer sailing. Our specialists can match the route to what you enjoy.

Do I need a passport?

On a round-trip cruise from a US port, US citizens can usually sail with an original birth certificate plus a government photo ID. We still strongly recommend a valid passport — you'll need one to fly home if you ever have to leave the cruise early from a foreign port.

Request your Caribbean cruise quote

Tell us your dates and who's travelling. A CLIA-certified cruise specialist will compare sailings across cruise lines and call you back — usually within 15 minutes during business hours.
